-Introduction-
I was recently blessed with a small quantity of MXiPR (3-MeO-2′-Oxo-PCiPr). I'd been hoping to get my hands on some for months, and I was overjoyed to finally experience it for myself.
I have quite a bit of experience with 2-FDCK, FXE (presumably 2F-OPCE), and ketamine. However, MXiPR is definitely an outlier in comparison. Even though I did plenty of research before trying it, I was still a bit uncertain what to expect.
Below are my notes from my first MXiPR experience. If you're interested in a summary of subjective effects, you can find it at the bottom of this report.
Set:
I had been looking forward to trying MXiPR for weeks, so I was in a great mood and quite excited.
I had been looking forward to trying MXiPR for weeks, so I was in a great mood and quite excited.
Setting:
Late at night, alone in my room. This is my preferred setting for using dissociatives.
Dosage:
10 mg at T- 0:00.
15 mg at T- 0:10.
20 mg at T- 2:10.
Total - 45 mg.
-Trip Report-
T- 0:00. Insufflated 10 mg.
T- 0:10. Insufflated another 15 mg. This stuff really does smell like Pokémon cards.
T- 0:15. Out of all the dissos I've tried so far, the onset feels closest to "FXE" (presumably 2-Fluoro-2-oxo-PCE), but warmer. It feels somewhat "lighter" than ketamine, both in my body and head; it's also a bit more stimulating.
T- 0:20. I feel quite warm. My head is tingly and heavy, and there is excitement welling in my chest. A tingling comes on - this sensation, as well as the euphoria more generally, is most intense in my extremities. That said, it is present to a lesser degree throughout my body.
T- 0:25. The warmth intensifies. I am experiencing a bout of tinnitus, but it's light. I notice mild color saturation; on top of that, there's a vague "tunnel vision" effect.
A profound relaxation begins to set in, like getting into a warm bath. I hit my THC pen, which deepens my profound content.
T- 0:40. Sharp tingles are running all up and down my body. This stuff is quite potent. I feel sedated and at peace, but also mentally stimulated. I text some friends as the warm body high increases.
T- 0:45. I experience a feeling describable only as bliss. I put on Sufjan Steven's "Futile Devices" - the instrumentals are beautiful sober, and even more so while on MXiPR. I could almost feel the music in my body, with each note producing tingles in my very soul.
T- 0:55. I listen to a few more songs before turning off the music, instead immersing myself in the euphoric sedation. I feel like a lizard basking under a heat lamp.
I feel somewhat numb, but the anelgesic effects are not yet quite as pronounced as 2-FDCK or ketamine. This disso has an interesting warmth to it - possibly indicating more serotonergic action?
T- 1:00. I stand up to use the restroom without much difficulty, grabbing a Gatorade on my way back. I notice slight tracers, as well as a possible increase in visual acuity.
I am soon hit with another wave of euphoria and sedation, which encourages me to lie down and check for CEVs. They are present, though somewhat indistinct, possessing a vague rainbow hue. There are also somewhat linear and jagged, if that makes sense.
T- 1:05. I notice some time constriction at this point. The body high also shifted from warm to cold, sinking me into a perfect chilly day. It remained every bit as euphoric as before.
T- 1:15. The body high swaps to warm again. This is definitely unlike anything I had tried before, but not at all in a bad way. The strange notion occurred to me that I was "at the beach in bed." Although I'm not 100% sure what I meant by this, I think I just felt very at ease, overcome with a warm glow.
T- 1:20. Another wave of full-body tinnitus washes over me. The cold body high re-emerges, this time centered in my left leg and foot.
T- 1:30. The offset begins, but I'm still far from sober. The warmth once again replaces the cold - these flashes sound odd on paper, but they're really quite pleasant. They were accompanied by ample tingles.
T- 1:45. The comedown continues, but I'm still in an uplifted mood. The disassociation lingers somewhat, too.
T- 2:10. The disassociation dissipated markedly in the half-hour or so since my last note. I'm not quite ready for bed, so I redose about 20 mg.
T- 2:25. The redose starts taking effect. MXiPR definitely enhances visual acuity at first, but as the high drags on, visual acuity suppression predominates. I also encountered the blurred double vision common to many dissos, forcing me to type with one eye closed.
T- 2:30. The high blossoms to the forefront, opening with a colder wave of euphoria. The Pokémon card taste is more prominent this time, and it's somewhat unpleasant. The Gatorade helped, but the combination of the disassociation and taste made me a bit nauseous at times.
T- 2:35. A buzzing mounts in my head, building in intermittent waves. I again experience bursts of tinnitus somewhat reminiscent of 2-FDCK. I also briefly encountered a weird auditory hallucination of some whopping sound, but this quickly passes.
T- 2:40. All of the sudden, the effects intensify quite a bit - for a moment, I think I might hole. This doesn't happen, but I was nonentheless sedated to the point of incapacitation. I'm very comfortable, though. This is the pinnacle of coziness.
A pressure point, an unusual epicenter of tingling, appears on my forehead. As quickly as it arose, it faded. I found this pretty cool. I can also hear my own heart beat for a while, but the noise fades quickly, too.
T- 2:55. The distant, rainbow CEVs persist, as does the tingly euphoria. The "temperature" of the body high continues to alternate from warm to cold. As before, these sensations originate in my extremities, mainly starting in my feet and traveling up to my arms and torso.
T- 3:20. The effects begin to recede slightly earlier this time, though not significantly earlier. The tinnitus starts dying down, too. The back of my ears feels especially good and warm right now, oddly.
T- 3:40. The high has largely dissipated by now, replaced by hunger and sleepiness. I have some ice cream.
T- 4:30. Experiencing only slight lingering disassociation, I manage to fall asleep. It was a bit harder to do so than after 2-FDCK or ketamine, but easier than after FXE.
-Effects Summary-
Through the above experience, as well as subsequent trials, I have determined that MXiPR's effects begin about T- 0:15 after insufflation, reaching full intensity around T- 0:30. The peak ends at around T- 1:30, with the offset concluded between T- 2:00 and T- 2:30. The optimal dosage for me is anywhere from 30 mg to 50 mg, though your tolerance may vary.
MXiPR exhibits an interesting blend of sedation and stimulation. Mentally, I find it stimulating at all doses. Physically, however, it is relatively stimulating at lower doses and sedating at higher doses. Even though my thoughts are often clear and sharp, articulating them can be difficult. My heart rate increases throughout the duration of the experience, as well.
Motor control skills decline as dosage increases, replaced by numbness. These effects are not quite as intense as 2-FDCK, 2F-OPCE, and ketamine. The unpleasant plastic taste lends itself to a bit of nausea, but I have never needed to throw up, and the feeling typically passes quickly.
MXiPR produces a unique body high, which is best characterized as pleasurable buzzing in the extremities, including arms, legs, feet, hands, and the head. This tingling alternates between cool and warm, and it comes in distinct waves. My body also feels somewhat light, as if I am floating and weightless.
MXiPR sports noteworthy visual effects. During the onset, my visual acuity is enhanced, but my vision blurs soon after. At higher doses, it can be difficult to focus on a single point due to double vision. Shutting one eye is the only way to type effectively. OEVs are limited to blurring and mild color saturation. The CEVs are colorful, but indistinct. There are jagged lines behind my eyelids, but it's hard to put my finger on it.
The auditory effects of MXiPR are noteworthy, too. The tinnitus isn't all that different from what I expect from 2-FDCK, but there's an occasional whooping sound that I haven't encountered before. Music sounds noticeably better, and any media is more immersive.
In terms of cognitive effects, there's an element of "magic" - a warm serotonergic blanket - unlike any disassociative I've ever tried. The feeling somewhat resembles what I've heard about MXE, though I never had the pleasure of trying it. I often experience slight memory loss the following day, such as failing to remember when I fell asleep.
Although uncommon, I've had a couple episodes of delusion and mania while under the influence of MXiPR.

As of yet, I have not experienced a "hole" from MXiPR - at least not one that I can remember. I suspect that it may be a bit chaotic and confusing, so I am content to surf at sub-hole doses for the time being.
I noticed few after-effects the following day, apart from some groginess. I was in a better mood than usual, but this may have been unrelated.
-Combinations-
MXiPR goes better with some compounds than others. In terms of dissos, I'm personally a fan of snorting a little MXiPR on 2-FDCK - it adds warmth to an otherwise glacial disassociation and spices things up a bit. Ketamine and MXiPR are likewise pleasant together. 2F-OPCE and MXiPR is a bit of a chaotic mix, in my opinion, and can be a bit too stimulating.
Weed is, of course, a welcome addition to MXiPR. YMMV, though - I just so happen to enjoy weed with just about anything. I don't believe alcohol would be especially enjoyable, and it might cause nausea.
Benzodiazepines seem to potentiate MXiPR, as they do most disassociatives. I am also looking forward to combining psychedelics with MXiPR, either by snorting some during the offset of a trip or smoking 5-HO-DMT, which pairs well with ketamine.
Randomly, I mixed O-DSMT and MXiPR once, and it was quite nice. The warmth synergized well. Kratom also plays nice with MXiPR - I assume most drugs with opioid receptor activity would.
