My experience with stimulants is rather eclectic, starting with caffeine and moving to the ADHD med Concerta at the age of 8. I began getting prescribed 20 mg Adderall XRs and 10 mg Adderall IRs at age 14, and I tried MDMA and cocaine at 16. From there I tried methamphetamine a couple of times, orally and insufflated. Prefer it to Adderall, as the comedown is less draining. I am now in my twenties, and a-PCYP is my first experience with cathinones. The following will chronicle my experience with this chemical taken orally as well as vaporized in an ecig.

I acquired this stimulant mainly out of curiosity and out of a search for a functional stimulant that could help enhance my cognitive performance on ordinary days. I am in grad school as well, so a stimulant that can act as a study aid with little adverse side effects/comedown is what I'm after. The three months prior to my experience with a-PCYP included the use of 5-APB a couple of times. No other stimulants were used during this time. I also had a mild trip on 5-aco-DMT a few weeks prior, as well as 3.5 grams of ketamine spread out over the course of a week about 3 months prior.

T+0:00 - I measured out 50 mg of a-PCYP on a digital scale accurate to +/- 5 mg. I put the off-white powder into a thin square of toilet paper and "parachuted" it down the hatch. It's in the early morning hours, and I haven't consumed any food.

T+0:20 - I begin to feel the first effects. I have a pretty low tolerance for psychoactives, and I can notice a big difference in my mood and wakefulness. I am now wide awake.

T+0:40 - I am feeling thoroughly stimulated, but the effects have reached the end of their peak, and I am starting to feel the initial comedown. I am much less focused than I would be on a 30 mg dosage of Adderall, but the stimulation is as strong as about 50 mg of methamphetamine taken orally. On meth and Adderall I can read much more proficiently, but now my reading is even less focused than when I am sober. I feel a tinge of anxiety, like something is amiss. This uncomfortable feeling only gets worse as the comedown progresses.

T+0:60 - The Comedown - I am surprised at how quickly the comedown begins on this drug, and I do another 50 mg orally to curb this bad, dirty feeling. After 10 minutes of taking my second dose, my comedown is gone and I am back to feeling like superman. The high is similar to meth and cocaine.

T+1:45 - The terrible comedown is back in full swing, and now that is it later on in the evening, I decide against another redose.

T+2:00 - I am wishing that I never tried this drug, for I now feel sluggish, paranoid, and general malaise. I am unfocused, and I am worried, without any particular reason. This cruddy comedown persists for another 2 hours, at which point I went to sleep. A-pcyp is not a drug that I plan on experimenting with in the future. Comedown is much worse than meth, doesn't last as long, and is much less functional. I can see how this drug, commonly referred to as flakka in the southern US and gravel on the east coast, could be highly addictive. Stay far away.
